From Restaurants to Real Estate, I’m shaking things up

After seven years of building two successful restaurant businesses, I found myself wanting more. I’d always been drawn to real estate, kept watch on the market from a personal standpoint, and every time I started thinking about my next successful venture, the realtor path became abundantly clear.

First rule I learned in business: When you see an opportunity, get in the game. When I did my research I found that, for the most part, there was a lot of information out there that came across as canned — dated stuff about buying and selling that was well past its “Best Before” date.

There seemed to be a lack of original and fresh information for you to gain inspiration, insights and ideas into what works in buying and selling a home today — not last month, or last year. Just like my restaurant businesses, you will not get canned anything from me — but rather a personally prepared plan with seasoned ingredients and a recipe for success.

I guess you could say I’ve always been someone who likes starting from scratch, because I’ve learned that true satisfaction lies in the process. Whether it’s restaurants or real estate, planning and preparation are key.

Now that we’ve had an introduction, there’s one thing you should know about me: I don’t do anything unless I can do it consistently and that stands true for every area of my life. From coaching CrossFit athletes to advising clients, I care about helping people achieve their goals.

The number one question I’ve received as a realtor so far? “How’s the market?” Everyone wants to know the candid truth about how they can make their money work in this economy. The answer? Houses are moving quickly and it’s a great time to buy or sell.

The truth is, when you read this blog, you can expect real estate and business advice that works. Regardless of what industry I’m in, I always keep the kitchen stocked with honest advice, creative strategies and superior service.

Do I plan on still serving food for thought to win at the real estate game? You bet. If there’s one thing you can count on me for, it’s that service and success will always be on the menu.

Stay tuned, this is only the beginning.
